Sacred Stone Body Therapy: Sacred Stone Therapy creatively
integrates the art of stone bodywork with the ancient science of
Ayurveda. During the span of 75 minutes, heated stones are glided
and laid upon oiled muscles. Cool, white quartzite stones are
smoothed along the face. Velvety textured stones gently grip the
muscle sheaths, giving way for deep tissue release. Finger-shaped
stones press lightly into marma points to clear blockages. According
to Ayurveda, it is our internal motion (vata: Sanskrit word meaning
“what blows”) that amplifies anxiety. So, Sacred Stone Therapy was
designed to calm the internal motion within us by using specific,
ancient vata-reducing bodywork techniques. Sacred Stone Therapists
focus on anchoring the first and second chakra and enhancing the
downward flow (apana vayu) within the body. Apana vayu connects us
to the Earth. This treatment integrates the use of stones & touch
with western & eastern massage techniques.. The beauty of this
therapy is manifested in the compassion extended from the therapist
to the client. This compassion becomes imprinted within the matrix
of each stone. The sweetness of life is renewed.

Sacred Stone Facial Therapy: Using contrast hydrotherapy, hot
and cold stones are gliding along the face to firm the skin and
bring more blood flow to the face. The arms, shoulders, neck and
feet are massaged with warm stones. Warm toes stones are inserted
between each toe. The traditional ayurvedic marma point facial
sequence is incorporated with finger like stones, rejuvenating the
eyes and the skin. Aromatic mists and anti-oxidant neem oils are
used along with sinus clearing oils and stones. A homemade,
ayurvedic mask is applied at the end. A refreshing, invigorating
treatment for everyone!

Rieki Stone Healing: Following the Usui System of
attunements, this therapy uses the ancient art of laying-on warm
stones over each chakra in a specific sequence, which calms the body
and promotes deep healing. If you are open and receptive, you may
experience emotional, mental and karmic releases. Rieki attuned
stones are laid under and on the body following the chakra system in
a sequence that anchors the root chakra, which anchors the body and
melts tension. Our therapists will apply hands-on energy healing
techniques in collaboration with the warm stones, creating a safe
and sacred place for you to heal yourself.

Sacred Stone Cellulite Massage: Sacred Stone's homemade Vedic
Cellulite Detox Oil is designed to heat the subcutaneous fat. The
natural topical caffeine and other detoxifying essential oils will
stimulate circulation and increase the metabolism of the tissue just
below the skin. Castor, neem and mustard oil have the affinity to
break down toxic accumulations. Warm stones send the oil deeper into
the tissue. The same sequence as the Ayurvedic Warm Stone Massage is
used, except the technique is more aggressive.

Ear Coning: Aromatic herbal hollow candle cones are gently
placed inside the opening of the ear canal as smoke fills the cone.
It is a safe ancient technique that acts like a vacuum, removing
earwax, debris, and sinus congestion. This technique also works on
the subtle body by reactivating and spinning the chakras located at
each ear. Your head will feel lighter, and your senses heightened.
It is not unusual to see big chunks of earwax in the cone at the end
of the session.

Vedic Archetypal Blueprinting: How does your body go out of
balance when you are stressed? Your birth information can determine
what planet is governing your physiology at birth, which will give
insight as to what dosha you should pacify and what diet to follow.
This is an ancient, archetypal healing system from India and is more
ancient than Jyotish. This system places great emphasis on seven
archetypal imbalances:
- Fire Element: Heat (Sun),
- Earth, Air, Ether & Water Elements: Cold (Moon)
- Ether, Air, Fire Elements: Lightness (Mars)
- Earth and Water Elements: Heaviness (Jupiter)
- Ether and Air Elements: Dryness (Saturn)

Healing Systems: Cooling, Fomentation, Nourishing, Lightening,
Hydrating, Drying, and Mixed. You will be given personalized yoga,
lifestyle, foods, herbs, homeopathy, color therapy, mantra, and

Garshana-Abyhanga Massage: This treatment starts with fresh
lemon & salt on the feet to encourage systemic cleansing, followed
by a dry lymphatic skin brushing with a silk glove, followed by an
personalized herbal oil massage. The brushing (garshana) increases
circulation, alkalizes the blood, helps create negative ions (which
are the good ones!) and cleans the skin so herbal oil can penetrate
deeply. Warm, herbal-oil massage (abhyanga) nourishes the skin, aids
in removing impurities, stimulates both arterial and lymphatic
circulation, and calms the central nervous system, promoting a
blissful sensation. Garshana enhances the potential of nutrients to
reach starved cells and also eliminates stagnant waste. You can
either take your silk gloves home to wash and re-use or you can
leave them at Sacred Stone with you name on them for further
treatments.
70 minutes: $75.00
Shirodhara Therapy: This treatment starts with fresh lemon &
salt on the feet to encourage systemic cleansing, followed by a foot
and head massage, including Eastern cleansing therapies for the ears
and nose. Shirodhara is a profound mind-melting treatment using
Ayurvedic oils poured in a steady stream over the forehead and
scalp. It cleans both the mind and the senses, which allows the
body's natural healing mechanisms to release stress from the nervous
systems. This in turn, improves mental clarity and comprehension.
This therapy balances the third eye and stimulates the nervous
system by releasing neuro-hormones and creating ecstatic feelings of
relaxation and pleasure. The patient should be advised to plan only
light activity for several hours following the treatment. Please
bring a towel for your head. The oil should stay on your head for at
least 2 hours or longer after the treatment for the best results.
60 minutes: $108.00. Packages of 5 sessions: $500. Bring
your own oil (2 quarts), each session would be $90.
Abhyanga-Swedhana Steam Canopy Therapy: This treatment starts
with fresh lemon & salt on the feet to encourage systemic cleansing,
followed by a warm, herbal oil massage, including Ayurvedic
cleansing therapies for the nose and ears. After the massage, the
oil is left on the body to soak in deeper as the pores of the skin
open from the heat of the steam canopy. Swedhana therapy liquefies,
loosens, removes impurities and melts toxins within the body so that
they move more readily into the gastrointestinal tract, supporting
elimination. It kindles digestive fire, metabolic fire (agni) and
the immune system of all the cells within the body. It brings about
deep relaxation, removes stress, help reduce cellulite, bloating and
crystallized negative emotions.
