How To Take The Course
Once you place your order, we will send you an email with
a user-name, password and directions how where to find our
online "Student Central" website. At this site, you can take
the multiple choice open-book exam online with instant
results, submit your essays, watch the streaming videos (as
often as you want), find your enrollee, practicum and
evaluation forms, print your transcripts and receive your
certificates. Easy. There is nothing you need to snail-mail.
All our courses are now totally electronic (online) so we
can save the trees, gas, postage and lighten our
"footprint". It's very easy to navigate, even for
technophobes! We will send you the hard copy of the 51 page
illustrated Sacred Stone Swedhana-Garshana Detox Manual in
the mail if you choose to purchase the hard copy version of
this course which is an option found in the Choose Format
drop down window at the top of this web page. All homestudy
students are asked to take the exam online. Those who don't
want to take the exam online can request a special hard copy
version of the exam and course paperwork be e-mailed to them
(in PDF format). Students then can then print the exam and
paperwork and mail it back to us. There will be a $25

Our steam tents are hand-made from stamoid, a marine grade,
waterproof and mildew resistant, vinyl like fabric. The
clean-up is very easy. It is six feet long with 16" diameter
circular tube at the end for the steam to enter. The whole
tent is foldable and goes into a carry bag. Bag and rods
included. Made with care by an Ayurvedic Practitioner and
Massage Therapist.
The purpose of Swedhana Therapy is to liquefy, loosen,
remove impurities and melt toxins within the body so that
they move more readily into the gastrointestinal tract,
supporting elimination. It kindles digestive fire, metabolic
fire (agni) and the immune system of all the cells within
the body. It brings about deep relaxation, removes stress
and crystallized negative emotions. Garshana Therapy uses
hand-crafted, silk exfoliating gloves to remove dead skin
cells from the entire body, detoxify the liver, alkalize the
blood and awaken vitality. The traditional Ayurvedic
garshana sequence is listed step-by-step in the manual. This
session lasts about one hour and the therapist can charge
between $90-$130 for each session depending on the
socio-economic area and the credentials and experience of
the therapist.
The manual has many detailed pictures and is very easy to
understand. The video is also very comprehensive and simple
to follow. Upon receipt of your answer sheet with a score of
75% or higher, signed practicum (10 people), and course
evaluation, you will be awarded your CE hours from the
NCBTMB and sent a professional wall certificate. Students
are given 6 months (from the date the home study package is
sent in the mail) to complete their course.
